Chrysler has filed for bankruptcy. GM is most likely going to file for bankruptcy. Ford is alive, but the demand for their cars is not as great as it once was. And along comes a company like this
In one paragraph explain what you think will happen to the auto industry in America in the coming years. In your paragraph, explain who you think will run these companies and also describe what kinds of cars you think will be produced and why these cars will be produced.

In the next coming years, i think majority of the american brand cars will die. Except for maybe Chevrolet, they are starting to make quality cars. I think most of the companies that die will be owned by foreign people...just like how Jaguar and the rovers were sold to "tata motors". The types of cars i see that will be produced are more hybrids and fuel efficient cars so it can help our environment. Car companies like toyota and honda will still rule the auto industry.

ReplyDeleteI think in the coming years there will be very less american cars on the road. People will buy more foreign cars that are cheaper and more fuel efficient. The american cars will merge with for foreign car makers. The BYD will take over the roads when it comes in 2011. The car its cheap and people will buy it. I would be willing to invest in a electric car company like this one.

ReplyDeleteI feel that in the next few years o come that the electric car will not be produced or researched throughout the United States. I do however believe that China and Europe will develop electric cars, and by doing so will cause the nation to develop new electric cars as a respose in order to compete with the other auomobile industries throughout the world. The electric cars of th future will be sleeker and have higher performance capabilities. With today's techological advances I feel that the next electric car poduced will be greater than any hydrogen powered fuel celled vehile.

In the coming years there are going to be more hybrid cars. The fuel cars will be gone and people will see more hybrid cars. I think its good for the enviornment, fuel cars pollute the air and hybrids are good for the enviornment. Companies that are struggling right now will probably die out in the coming future or either be bought by other companies. I think the companies that will survive could be Toyota or Honda. They have good enviornment safe cars.

I believe that the car companies in the coming years will continue to decline in the sales of it cars. The demand for these gas guzzling is going away and more people want cars that get better gas mileage. Unless they start to create cars that the American people want these car companies are most likely going to go out of buisness.

i think that we will not have very few american cars on the road. i think asian car companies is gona take over the american car companies. china is coming up with great car that use less fuel and they also have cars that runs complety on battery. i think for american companies to survie they need to come up with cars better than asian contry producing.

I think that the Auto industry will never be what is today. Because the Obama administration will tax certain old gasoline powered cars I'm guessing that gasoline powered cars will die out eventually. Car companies will mass produce electric cars, and make them affordable. Slowly we'll cut off our dependence on oil from the middle east. I don't know exactly what will happen to America's auto industry, but fuel efficient cars that help the environment will be more common.

If the American auto industry keeps declining I believe that it will be taken over by foreign competitiors, most likely China. America need to lose the oil addiction and make more electronic or alternative fuel cars at affordable prices. And like alot of China's imports here, the cars would be cheaper than the ones made here.

Now that Chrysler filed for bankruptcy and GM is most liekly going to file for bankruptcy, what will happen to the auto insudtry? Well in my opinion, i think that in a couple of years China will run the auto indusrtries. I think that there wont be as much American cars on the road as we do now. I also think that China will produce more hybrid cars and maybe even electric cars.

In the coming years, I think that the failures of the auto industry are going to be weeded out and that foreign automakers are going to dominate. China especially is going to run the auto industry because of its outstanding ability to beat us at everything technological. Anyway, I think that the remaining auto companies are going to start making hybrids, and further research all electric cars. If gas is going to be over 4 dollars a gallon, the consumers are going to demand an alternative, and electric cars will be that alternative. Hopefully this will move us in the right direction.

I think that it's best that both Chrysler and GM make more hybrid cars. That way more people would buy their cars. Like Honda and Toyota, they are not going bankrupt because they have environmental friendly cars, and thats what the people want. If they do this they will be back in business.
ReplyDeleteWith the loss of Chrysler and the soon-to-be loss of GM, and the constant need for oil, the electric car is bound to take over. With the E6 being only $22,000 and has 250 mile range.... almost too good to be true I suppose. Its statistics fit about 90% of the American population and at an affordable price. Technology and reasoning will be able to get us through the economic challenges we face.

I think as well as hope that in the coming years we will go to elctric cars. I think taxing gasoline is a crazy thought, who would want to pay $4.00 a gallon when we are on the verge of going all electric. The car companies in the future will, im my opinion will be run by the government, especailly if they are going bankrupt now. In the future I think the car companies will be electric and run by the government.

In the following years, i see the car industry declining in quality and size of cars. The electric cars are smaller sized cars such as the Toyota Corolla but having gas prices raise to 4.00 or more again isn't something the American people want to experience again.Even though there are pros for having an electric car, there are cons that would use taxpayers money on something that can be held off for a little bit and be an inconvenience for drivers. I believe it is a loose-loose situation for the future of American car industries. I feel that we should take help from Chinese and Japanese auto makers to advance our industry or even become partners with them for their cars.

ReplyDeleteThe automobile market, as of today, is going under due to our lack of technology. over in Europe and China they already have cars that can run on a significant amount of electricity instead of gas or oil. in the future i see the U.S. making a deal with a foreign coutry to help the U.S. make electric cars becuase the U.S. line of automobiles are become obsolite and inefficient. We drive HUGE gas-guzzling cars that pollute the air and burn a hole in our pocket.
It seems that the greed of American automakers has finally caught up with them. The Japanese auto makers have always made sure they had quality products, while the American car companies have made their cars as cheap and massively as possible. Soon, the American car companies will no longer be able to compete. It seems fitting that if the American car companies killed the electric car, that they kill themselves as well.

ReplyDeleteI think in the next year there will be less and less american buy new cars. And less american cars will be produce. I think more people will buy used car or electric car, because that used cars are more cheap and electric cars dont have to spend money on fuel. I think the asian car companies will run the world car industry in next few years, because they made cars cheap and with no carbon doxied.

In my opinion, next few years of the auto industries will turn out to be really bad because of the competition among the car industries and the bankruptcy. During these upcoming years, I believe that it will not be the same as before, even the producer. But yet I am not sure about who will be it. Probably be the Chrysler’s dealers, who will be running the company. There are many kind of car will be produce in the future, for example, solar car will be available in the future, plus all the good engine in China’s Toyota-Like Strategic Opportunity in US Market. Not only that there might be electric car being produced. But still overall, the auto Industries will be going down Because of the bankruptcy.
