Chrysler has filed for bankruptcy. GM is most likely going to file for bankruptcy. Ford is alive, but the demand for their cars is not as great as it once was. And along comes a company like this
In one paragraph explain what you think will happen to the auto industry in America in the coming years. In your paragraph, explain who you think will run these companies and also describe what kinds of cars you think will be produced and why these cars will be produced.

With the creation of hybrid vehicles, I believe the future of automotive vehicles will take a drastic turn. To be less dependent on oil, much less foreign oil, the smart thing to do would be to create a vast promotion of hybrid vehicles. Not only would this help the economy because of our dependency of foreign oil, but this would also help the environment as well. With the Chinese creating electric hybrids, the rest of the world would hopefully follow in the coming future. The kind of cars I think would be produced would be a variation of hybrid cars. I believe the companies that would run this type of manufacture would be the companies willing to take a great chance for a greater and healthier way for our vehicles. These cars would be produced not only for the environment, but also for a better system in which we could run on.

i believe that the goverment will control the auto industry and make very efficent cars on the market like how they made the ev1 but then they destoryed it because of several reasons .
ReplyDeletethe cars that they should make should be fuel efficent and solar powered electric cars and very easy to maintain
i believe that the auto industry will receive a HUGE change. Hybrid vehicles are the future in my opinion. With China's new electric hybrids, eventually the world will follow and improve on this new idea. I believe we will be seeing a lot of hybrid type cars and a lot of electric cars for a healthier auto industry future.

I predict that in the coming years the auto industry in America will change. It will become more expensive. Many people will be complaining too much because they wont have enough or no money at all. Cars should cost less now adays.

I believe what will happen to our American cars is they will eventually die off. Our cars are using too much gas and prices our going up. To keep production efficient the foreign cars will take over because they are better for our economy and much more fuel efficient that others. Such as hybrid vehicles and other fuel efficient cars. These vehicles that will be produced have a better chance of living longer in our nation, these will be the cars that will benefit us. So all the companies like ford, gm, and so on will no longer be here.

I think in the coming years the us auto industry will be forced to better compete with foreign auto makers. when it comes to GM i think they will most likely go bankrupt and then retool. In the coming years these companies will probably have new management. Either they'll merge with other companies like Chrysler or get bought out. Now that GM and Ford are suffering from major losses they will have to start producing better hybrids and full electric cars like the foreign automakers.
ReplyDeleteThe car industry will start going down and we will not be able to go on further in the future. We need to produce electric cars so that it will be easier and cleaner for people in the future to drive in. i believe that in the coming years there will be many different cars. Mainly i hope that we will be able to make a electric car that will be better for all the people in the future. I also believe that the cars should be cheaper and cost less. It would be easier to pay for the car that they want.

ReplyDeleteI think that American auto companies are going to make a drastic change from gas to electirc, having to compete with the E6 and cars that will probably come up with it. The only problem is that investing in gas technologies excessively has left little room for groundbreaking electric technology. And to top that off so many major car companies are filing for bankruptcy that they don't have the resources to turn to electric vehicles. At least not at the E6's caliber. My best bet is that the cars, once introduced in America, will bring about a crash to cars powered by gasoline, and nearly collapse the companies that make them. Who knows, maybe then they will be bought and refitted to make and compete in electric cars. This is unlikely, but I can see that happening if foreign companies merge or completely by out American auto companies and help with the developement. But until then China is going to keep leading the electric charge, and I'm getting an E6 when they get here.

ReplyDeleteI believe that GM will some how survive and so will Ford. But i think the electric car will come back but i do believe it wont be that popular to many Americans because there are a lot of car junkies in this country that like power cars that go really fast cars where u can here the engine. The electric car will probably be more popular to foreigners in my opinion. If America can ever get out of this recession then people will start to buy new cars.
No matter what happens, we're going to stay behind the asian car dealers. At least for right now that is. I predict that unless we start coming to reason and actually producing Hybrids, American Car Companies will seize production. However, at least we won't have to depend on Saudi Arabian fuel for our cars the way we're speeding towards Hybrids period. But if I were to make a prediction of what's to be, America will discover that we needed- focus on the word NEEDED- to start the hybrid chain. But there's still time before it's too late.
ReplyDeleteI think that the kind of cars that will be produced in the upcomming the years will unfortunatly be still gas powered cars. I hope somewhere along the line will be like china will the best elctric and gas powered cars. IF we wanna survive in the upcomming years something drastic is going to have to happen. I believe that we can be like china and we hve the avialbility to do so but we are to stubborn to attempt it.

The future of Americas auto industry looks dim. I think that government will take over th auto industry and they will start making more fuel efficient and clean burning vehicles.
ReplyDeleteWith all this new technoolgy, and how rabid everything is evolving within our automotive industry, things will change dramatically. Hybrid and eletrick cars will cause us to be less dependant on foreign oil, cost less out of our own pocket, and cause less pollution within our own air. The companies that take this chance will benifit us greatly. Once we get out of our recession, people will turn to these cars no doubt.

I think that in the upcoming years that we will unfortunately be still using gas powered cars. I do hope that we start to take the track that china has and use hybrid or electrical cars because that will save America from our global warming and low on oil deficit. Plus i believe that America is too stubborn to change and that will ultimately be our downfall. I still have hope and i will be a contributor to the electrical cars soon.

i think we are going to come to a complete stop with our auto industry. chrysler is lokking really bad, so bad that they are filing for bankruptcy. if you ask me that doesn't sound to good at all. ford is alive and well but has admitted that thier cars aren't as great as the once in the past. so it is looking very bad for the auto industries in the U.S.
ReplyDeletethe asian auto industry will take over.

ReplyDeleteSoon enough the electric car will be the only option for the auto industries. With our tough economic times and our environmental conditions the electric car will be perfect. The electric car will be cheaper, have better mileage, longer lifespan, less repairs and looks the same. With the falling Chrysler and Gm Companies the electric car will be the best to replace them. I think our government should adopt the chinese electric car and make it better and create our own industries to sell the our country

ReplyDeleteit will be a miracle if atleast one automaker industry survives this economic battle. my belief is that auto industries wil all wither and die, new auto industries will be upheld and regulated by the government. hybrid automoblies will be the most popular made vehicles in the market, solar fueled vehicles as well as hydrogen fueled vehicles will also be in the market. the auto industries will manufacter these vehicles because it is better for the enviroment, and some people fear "global warming" that these vehicles will be in demand.
In, the coming years, the auto industry will encounter serious obstacles regarding the economy and pollution. The idea of electric cars will soon resurface. There will still be the issue of American made car companies going bankrupt.
ReplyDeleteI think, if things don't get any better, the government will step in to intervene in running these companies. Some of these companies might be forced to merge because they can't survive on their own.
More half-gas half-electric vehicles will be produced. They would have better gas mileage and be cleaner for the environment. Electric run vehicles, sadly, will not succeede right away because they can't compete with the tremendous power and influence that the oil industry wields.

I think that auto industry will be run by a mix of American and foreign companies. Start getting in to more of electric and hrydogen cars but still gas powered vehicles will still be a big part of society
ReplyDeleteI believe that the auto industry in America will eventally invest in the idea of hybrid electric cars, though I think that America will probably wait untill the gasoline runs out. We need to take China's example and become the leaders for other countries and investing in this pollution free hybrid electric cars. Other countries look up to America and would probably rather follow our example instead of China's.

In the future the American Motor industry, will have to change quite a bit to become more competitive in the new market. As of now Ford will be the leader of the American Automakers, as Chrysler and GM try to rebuild the company and get out of bankruptcy. They will have to offer EV to compete will the Japanese and Chinese company. The future for Detroit is looking good.
